I NEED A WALL SOLUTION that can...
Redi-Rock freestanding solutions are endless! This is just a short list of the most popular applications for using Redi-Rock concrete blocks to build freestanding walls. Redi-Rock has a proven track record of creating solutions that:
Why choose Freestanding walls?
Texture on 2-3 sides
Redi-Rock Freestanding blocks are textured on both sides, giving above-grade walls an unbeatable, finished look for any project you design.
Stands Above Grade
Redi-Rock large blocks for freestanding walls are often installed on top of Redi-Rock retaining walls, creating barrier walls or planter walls. This coordinating look for above grade walls is a great solution on any project!
Coordinating aesthetics
The Redi-Rock concrete block system for building freestanding walls coordinates beautifully with Redi-Rock retaining walls, columns and caps to create a cohesive look throughout a project. No need to find different vendors for different walls on your project--Redi-Rock is your one-stop shop!
Massive stability
Redi-Rock freestanding blocks weigh 1527 lbs. each, so you don't have to worry about blocks moving or falling. Topped with a 688 lb. Redi-Rock cap, these walls aren't going anywhere!
Quality components
The Redi-Rock large block wall system provides the incomparable durability of “wet cast”, air-entrained concrete. Wet-cast concrete has superior durability in freeze thaw cycles, making it a perfect choice for projects that need to stand the test of time.
So What Does It Look Like?
Redi-Rock is available in three textures that mimic the look of natural stone—Ledgestone (top), Cobblestone (middle), and Limestone (bottom). Click the blocks to the right to learn more about each! Color options vary by region; contact your local manufacturer for local availability.Ledgestone
The random texture on each Ledgestone block makes individual blocks nearly indistinguishable, giving the impression of a natural, random stone wall. Each Ledgestone block has 5.75 sq. ft. of face.
Cobblestone
When you choose Redi-Rock Cobblestone texture, you get the best of both worlds—the structural capabilities of a large block retaining wall, with a smaller-scale look. Each Cobblestone texture
block has the appearance of six smaller blocks on each 5.75 sq. ft. face.
Limestone
Redi-Rock Limestone texture creates an ideal look for projects that require a structural retaining wall that looks good. The massive, one-ton Limestone texture blocks feature six sq. ft. of face on each block, giving walls an impressive finished appearance.

Integrates with Retaining Blocks

Freestanding blocks use the same knob and groove technology as the retaining wall systems and therefore are able to integrate with retaining wall blocks. Freestanding blocks are used to make special features in retaining walls—such as stepping up and down the top of the wall, creating 90° corners, building parapet walls and more.
Textured Sides and Finished Ends
Freestanding blocks feature texture on both sides—and the corner block even has a finished end. Redi-Rock Freestanding blocks were designed so the revolutionary Limestone, Cobblestone, or Ledgestone textures can be seen from any angle. In addition to integrating with Redi-Rock retaining wall blocks, the texture on both sides of the Freestanding blocks allows them to be used in stand-alone applications, such as a seat wall or barrier wall. Freestanding blocks can be capped with Redi-Rock's cap systems or they can be planted. Both options provide superior, finished designs.
Groove
Save time positioning blocks and ensure a proper fit with the interlocking knob and groove technology.
Lifting Hook
A solid hook made from A36 steel is cast directly into the Redi-Rock blocks. The hook is used to safely lift blocks into place
Texture

Redi-Rock products lead the industry in texture depths at a whopping 5.5in of texture. Redi-Rock comes in three textures: Limestone, Cobblestone, and the revolutionary Ledgestone. Also, multiple colors can be achieved to meet your need.
Contact your local Redi-Rock manufacturer for texture and color options.
Knobs
Redi-Rock blocks utilize a knob and groove technology. This simple concept means that the entire structure is interlocked. Interface shear testing data is available in the Technical section of this website.
The versatile Freestanding Middle Block has a fighting weight of 1527 pounds. This block weighs as much as 903 iPADs!
Redi-Rock uses the weight of the blocks to hold back the earth. This allows Redi-Rock to build taller walls than smaller block units before needing to add geogrid or tiebacks.
Dimensions
The Freestanding Block is
- 18" high
- 46" long
- 24" wide (deep)
