Fork Slots

The patented fork slot technology was designed so contractors can use heavy machinery to pick multiple blocks at a time

Efficiently staging product on jobsites reduces handling time and is safer than hooking blocks with a chain.

Shape

Redi-Rock blocks are trapezoidal in shape. This fact enables the blocks to accomplish convex and concave radii.

Groove

Save time positioning blocks and ensure a proper fit with the interlocking knob and groove technology.

Block Cutaway Profile

The Positive Connection (PC) System is a revolutionary new way to construct MSE walls. The system provides a weight-independent connection between Redi-Rock blocks and 12 in. wide strips of geogrid. The Patent Pending smooth edge technology provides extremely high connection strengths with the geogrid reinforcement. Smooth, rounded corners allow the geogrid to slide over the block edges without shredding and severing.

The PC System can easily be designed to meet AASHTO LRFD design standards.

Texture

Redi-Rock products lead the industry in texture depths at a whopping 5.5in of texture. Redi-Rock comes in three textures: Limestone, Cobblestone, and the revolutionary Ledgestone. Also, multiple colors can be achieved to meet your need.

Contact your local Redi-Rock manufacturer for texture and color options.

Knobs

Redi-Rock blocks utilize a knob and groove technology. This simple concept means that the entire structure is interlocked. Interface shear testing data is available in the Technical section of this website.

3,235 Hamburgers

Our 28 In. Positive Connection (PC) Middle Block weighs 1540 lb. This block weighs as much as 3,235 Big Macs!

Redi-Rock uses the weight of the blocks to hold back the earth. This allows Redi-Rock to build taller walls than smaller block units before needing to add geogrid or tiebacks

Dimensions

The Positive Connection Block is

  • 18" high
  • 46" long
  • 28" wide (deep)

Bearing Plate

The Redi-Rock Positive Connection (PC) blocks provide a relief joint for the corners of our block in typical running bond installations. The relief joint provides superior performance in extremely high wall applications.
