Financial Analyst

You're someone who can sift through large amounts of information, recognize and discover key points, while filtering out the white noise. You ask good questions, thoroughly interrogate your data and think critically about the challenges and opportunities facing the company.

Practically speaking, you will:

  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing and explaining information
  • Evaluate financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Evaluate optional plans by identifying outcomes and potential returns
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
  • Guides cost analysis process by establishing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience as financial analyst, working directly with senior management
  • Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce or other ERP or CRM solutions
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related degree
