Colorado County Chooses Redi-Rock Gravity Solution to Widen Road and Protect Cyclists

"This project is called Sqaw Pass above Evergreen, Colorado. It's a nine-mile section of approximately 53 separate walls equalling a total of 45,000 square feet (4180 square meters) of wall face, or 10,000 Redi-Rock blocks.

Many cyclists use this road, and it became a dangerous situation due to how narrow the road is. Clear Creek County decided to widen the road to accommodate a lane of traffic for cyclists.

To do this, Redi-Rock became a perfect fit for the project due to the gravity wall application not having to excavate back into the roadway."
